1977-78 South East Counties League Div II

Having opted out of competing in Division Two last season. With this seasons enlarged Second Division the Hammers have elected to re-enter the competition, other newcomers for the present campaign are Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and Wimbledon. Together with Chelsea, Orient, Peterborough United, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford (all from last season), there is now a nine-club section.
