GARY STRODDER

Out-of-contract centre-back Gary Strodder made his expected move to West Bromwich Albion. Hammers are demanding £300,000 for him but, with Albion offering only £200,000, the fee will be decided by a tribunal. Strodder was a £150,000 signing from Lincoln three years ago and, though never able to command a regular place, made 68 first-team appearances. He went on the list at his own request late last season, at the end of which his West Ham

contract expired.
